I have always felt so much sympathy for Petunia, so many people seem to forget how poorly she was raised, she said it her self in the 1st book, once Lilly was accepted into Hogwarts everything was about her, how special she was, all the amazing things she could do.

And the there was Petunia, poor Petunia…left as the less impressive, not talented, Muggle sister. 

It couldn’t have been easy, it even explains why she spoiled Dudley the way she did, she never, ever wanted her son to feel the lack of love she did growing up.

So many people view her as horrible, I view her as a girl who just never got the love she deserved.
